Projects

The Motet

Since 1998, The Motet have inspired the world with their unique style of dance music. Over the course of nine full-length albums, they’ve traversed the lines between funk, soul, jazz, and rock and built a diehard audience in the process. They’ve headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre six times and sold out countless legendary venues coast-to-coast. In addition to racking up nearly 20 million total streams and views, they’ve also garnered widespread acclaim from numerous publications including Relix, Glide Magazine, and AXS.  The band has also graced the stages of festivals such as Bonnaroo, Bottlerock, Electric Forest, Bumbershoot, Summer Camp, and High Sierra.

Outer Orbit

Outer Orbit is a funk soul collective led by Galen Clark (Trio Subtonic) and fronted by vocalist Sarah Clarke (The Motet, Dirty Revival). The band features an all star lineup of Tyrone Hendrix (Prince), Damian Erskine (Skerik Band, Gino Vannelli), Peter Knudsen (Mono Neon, Ghost Note) and Mike Elson (Swatkins, Blitzen Trapper) and works with a variety of special guests including Saeeda Wright, Brian Foxworth, LaRhonda Steele, Jimmy Russell and Arietta Ward. Outer Orbit brings original burning soul and pocket heavy funk while drawing on a range of influences from Sly Stone and The Meters to Aretha Franklin and Emily King.

Con Brio

Named for an Italian musical direction meaning with spirit, Con Brio is a San Francisco Bay Area seven-piece that plays energetic soul, psych-rock and R&B that’s as fresh and freethinking as the place they call home. With a tight, veteran band that “comes across like a party punk version of Sly and the Family Stone” (Consequence of Sound), Con Brio is known to convert anyone who sees their electric live show.

Dirty Revival

Dirty Revival’s democratic approach to music shows in their songwriting, their original music effortlessly incorporating several different genres of music. At times showcasing their unique take on the soul and funk sounds of the 60’s and 70’s, then, straddling the line between rock band and pop band. The care the group takes in the arrangement of their original music is reflected in their cover choices, known for their dynamic recreations of classic songs by artists ranging from NIN to Black Sabbath and Rage Against the machine, illustrates why it is difficult to put the Dirty Revival in any one genre of music.
